My immediate and extended family did and still do call me Jimmy .
My last name is Gately . My high school hockey coach called me " Fencely " . My friends in high school and college called me " Gator ".
But the best name I have is from my two grand-daughters who call me " Pa-Pa ".

Absolutely the best! My first grandsons, twin boys, named me Popeye, and that has been my name for all six.

Cici, Mumsie, Flower. Niece, kids, husband.

My husband is Raymond Jr. His mother didn't like Big Ray/Little Ray/Junior, etc. so took letters from that name, and everyone called him Rondy. He got to college and shortened it to Ron. When people ask him about this now, he just says it's a long, boring story.

When my brother was a toddler he could not say Debbie so he called me "Bibi". Once he got into those pesky teenage years he called me "De-Bra". He thought it was cute to call me that in front of his friends.
