Be careful of discount tickets. If all discount tickets were legit, there would not be a long Ticket line at disney.

We have found that there are no significant discounts on tickets, best just to buy from Disney. There are good discounts for Florida residents. If you will go often, Passholder is the best deal.

they do have weekdays passes which we have....no weekends and blackout days...but they only cost $225? for a year.

I think AAA has discount tickets for members, but I've never used that service. If you're a member it wouldn't hurt to give them a call.

At $105 plus tax the prices are leaving the "middle class" behind according to the Washington Post. An Adult ticket cost $3.05 on 1971!

You would never know that the middle class is being left behind at Disney. People who cannot afford it are just putting the vacation on the credit cards and paying the minimum payment for high interest rates.

I first went to Disney World in 1972. I thought the cost of admission plus the book of tickets (A-rides through E-rides was $6) and I got a dollar discount through my employees association.

Who remembers that far back, though?

Back in 1961, I sold soda at the Minnesota Twins games. A large cup of soda (with ice) was 15 cents. Customers griped because a soda was 10 cents everywhere else. Beer was 40 cents at the ball park.

Apply for a Disney Credit Card that costs $50 a year. Cancel it after the first year.

Earn a $200 statement credit after you spend $500 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.
If you make the purchases in your cart today your purchases and statement credit will post on the same statement.

We buy our Annual Passes thru AAA with no problems, Buy AVP not much more then Seasonal Pass and parking included.

We are going down for Fourth of July, staying at Grand Floridian and will watch all fireworks and water parade from our balcony.

Problem now with Disney besides the high prices is that restaurants book 18 mos in advance. Used to book day you were there.

Using my Magic Kingdom Club Card one could get three days in the parks, Magic Kingdom only one, then EPCOT Center: four nights in Contemporary or Polynesian and a couple of lunches and dinners and a show for $450.

My parents used it to escape Philadelphia area winters.

I would like to bring back the lower admission, the ticket books. That way the people riding more of the wild rides would pay for them and those who don't like or can't would pay much less.
