But the memory always brings me back to a post I read when I lived in CA and was reading a thread about hunting. A poster made the comment that hunting was wrong and why don't those hunters just buy their meat at the supermarket where no animals are harmed. LOL!

mikeod: What you describe is exactly why my father would stick a chicken's head in a bucket of water and twist its neck. Then bleed it out and my duties then commenced dip into scalding hot water ,pull, water, pull water...:D

I recently read an article where I believe it was Georgia, perhaps South Carolina...anyway a few southern states were they hunt sand crane. the article claimed meat was top of the line
