We attended the concert tonight at the Polo Field, which was a fundraiser for the Moffitt Cancer Center.

What a great time! Anyone else attend?

I attended with some friends. It was fun singing along to the 'oldies'. Had the chance to talk to one of the fundraisers from Moffitt Research, and she educated us about the founding and continuing care provided by the Center.

In addition to the Drifters, Peggy March ("It's My Party and I'll Cry If I Want To") sang a number of hits. Alvin Morse of the Coasters and Tommy Mara of the Crests also performed. The entertainment was top notch. We were truly "dancing under the stars" while the Drifters performed, something we never could have imagined before we moved to The Villages.

We feel so blessed to live here.
