You can get information from the government at: How to use your Economic Impact Payment prepaid debit card without paying a fee | Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

Why would anyone want a $2,4000 debit card - outrageously stupid. Everyone I know got check or deposit! I am fed up with the inconvenience and don’t even know if my bank will process it. Both named persons must go to bank for sure and will need the pin maybe even user name and password for Money Network! Disgusted citizen - who made this decision for us? Cash is king!
wow ... getting a handout from the government and all you can do is complain? Reminds me of the food stamp recipients in my former hometown. Handouts and they moan about how they had to make an effort to use it.

Yes for a lot of working people they used it to catch up , but most of us in the villages should be spending it , I gave some to st Vincent de Paul food bank I tipped the barber $40 and the girl who answers phone $20 , I’ve been leaving $50 tips for 2 people at all my favorite restaurants , tipping the hostesses and when my gym opens in lees burg this week I’ll help some of my favorite staff the money is to spend not add to your bank account
For those getting a check, that's the way to do it IMHO.

One thing is for sure, with the annual corporate billions in "handouts" to farmers, big oil, coal, etc., they don't have a problem figuring out how to access the money since they have a staff of well paid accountants & lawyers to help them figure it out.

Perhaps you should have used the terminology, “corporate farmers”. You may want to spend a year working on and operating a small farm for some insight.
