Finally, we have something in common. Republicans take control of the house and Senate. Yay!

I like how party has certain trigger words when their Dirty leader NEVER let house bills and amendments come to the floor For vote .What do you call that! They couldn't even pass their own agenda when they had both the house and the senate, But sure did seek some through the back door Most Famous Phrase "We got to pass it to see what's in it"

This county needs to Ban Parties. Biggest corruption, But in the end it's all about money, taxing, controlling money to there party, and under the table money from Lobbists. Lobbying should be Crime Just like robbing bank.

In my life I have voted for both parties. I bet there aren't many who have voted for the same party all of their lives.

The two major parties have changed so much over time and because of a number of issues they both have become more polarized and seem unable to find any common ground even within themselves.

I am even a cafeteria MODERATE...and that isn't popular for sure.

The news media are always finding something to sensationalize and there is lots of fodder among politicians. WHO in their RIGHT MIND would put themselves in the position of being politician???

I would love to believe it is someone who believes in our country and wants what's best for all of us, but my fairy tale book has been unused for a long time.

We are faced with decision making about the lesser of evils it seems and we become less and less clear WHAT that is as we become older.

We are disrespectful of each other and scathing toward others views on this forum. We are skeptical and worried about what is happening to this country and the world.

I don't know the answers. I don't even know the questions.

We are still a very divided country but I think we may now get a chance to turn in the right direction. Hope and Pray.

Please allow exactly where you read that "first item..." piece, and supply a link.

Thank you.

We've had chances to do that in the years past and nothing happened and those that hindered progress before just have more power to do so now, I'd like to think you're right but seriously doubt it.

I can't say I'm jumping up and down for joy but I'm not crying in my cups, either. Results pretty much came in as expected for me.

I am sorry the marijuana initiative failed. I know what a difference MJ made for me when I was going through chemo.

As to our governor, well, slime is slime and both fit in this category.

It will be another two years of obstructionist government on the national level. Again, nothing new there. Life goes on and, hopefully, things will not really change for the majority of us.

I think replacing the leader of the senate, who created the logjam, will open up the country to real debate and forward movement.

No, you are not the sole survivor, there are many of us out there who would really like to see this country united and working together for the future of America.
