Thank you for sharing this. Makes you really pay a little more attention to the neighborhood you live in... You never know!

Everyone on El Camino Real look and see if one of these guys lives close to you. There are several in the villages.

Exclamation Protect Your Grandchildren

I am in quite a few groups and last year I heard two scary stories. Both involved young (5-6) years olds at the busy town squares, where a stranger took their hands and tried to lead them away. Both little sweethearts were able to get away and tell there grandparents.
However, both sets of Grandparents were upset that nothing was done and they couldn't get it in the Sun paper. So when it is really crowded at the town center, really watch your little ones.

Unhappy

Also, I am sad to say if you read the Crime Reports once a week in The Sun, it is not
unusual, as it was just a few years ago, to see Villagers occasionally listed.

I agree with islandgal. More and more Villagers are showing up on the arrest blotters locally. Most are under 50 and must be living with parents here. Most of the seniors listed are listed because of DWI. Love those happy hours at the Squares.

A word of caution on the web sites that list local preditors. I recently read that there is one in particular (can't remember the name) that is not legit. It is designed to get your name, address, or telephone number for purposes of sending spam. The results it gives you lists preditors but they are not actual people. A check of a phone book or something of that nature might show that the address and name are not real. Use caution unless the web site is run by the State or Federal Govt.

It was the only street in TV I recognized and the only one who is over 55. The others I brought up were younger people and I did not recognize the street.

I spent a few weeks visiting in Duval this October. There is a fellow on that site that I chatted with at the Duval pool. I would think the site is on target.

Oh gotcha...thanks for the clarification....but the scary part is that I found several over and under 55 within TV's....I guess it depends on the address you put in....and the five mile radius....very sad...

Does anyone know the Florida laws in regards to how close a sex-offender can live in proximity to a school. I know kids are not allowed to live in TV's...but they do go to the schools....and when I did a search using the charter school address....there were 2-3 within 1.5 miles of the schools.
