Forever Stamps Historical Pricing:
July 10, 2022: $0.60
August 29, 2021: $0.58
January 30, 2019: $0.55
January 23, 2018: $0.50
January 22, 2017: $0.49
April 10, 2016: $0.47
January 26, 2014: $0.49
January 27, 2013: $0.46
January 22, 2012: $0.45
May 11, 2009: $0.44
May 12, 2008: $0.42
April 12, 2007: $0.41

I have probably cut my usage of stamps by 90% in the past 10 years. And 90% of those are used for Christmas cards.
Interesting. The Amenities Fee/Trash/Water/Sewage bill can now be paid online, saving you a stamp. But the “convenience fee” or whatever they call it for doing that is, as I recall, around $3. Cheaper to write a check and use a Forever stamp.

All of my bills arrive by email. All payments to me are electronic. All my bills are paid electronically. There is nothing in my mailbox that can't be tossed out without inspection - it's all junk. And, I don't care if I ever see another xmas card. Fedex / UPS are better, faster & cheaper if you need to ship something.

I suggest people re-double your efforts to disconnect yourself from this corrupt, inefficient enterprise. Postage goes to support the retirement of people who stand behind the counter and ignore the presence of customers waiting in line. It's like the motor vehicle department.

If the USPS must survive, cut delivery to once a week and slash postage prices. This reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer tried to cancel his mail. How do you do that?

Kramer was ahead of the times. Who needs junk mail and all the election propaganda. Good one! Thanks for sharing!

Cost of Living on the $0.41 stamp would cost $0.58.............so the sky is not falling with $0.60 or $0.63.

You can use online bill pay for that. The bank will prepare and mail the check. Another option is to send the money from your bank using Zelle. Free and fast.

I wonder what Cliff Clavin would have to say about this outrageous raise. Lol. Even worse what would Newman have to add?

When you control the mail you control information!

Who cares about the price of stamps. I don’t need them with the little trick I came up with ten years ago.

Cliff would be thrilled, less mail for him to have to deliver. Norm could care less, unless it effects the price of beer, then he would be extremely concerned.

Really, does this surprise you & we wonder why so many people are using their PC. But then you can’t blame the USPO, they’re going broke.

Haven’t used a stamp in over 5 years. Or a paper check for that matter. Life sure has gotten a lot easier.

I used to collect stamps so it is kind of cool to see what they have out there now. But I am still using the batch I bought last year.

I do use stamps for letters to people who are not on Facebook or elsewhere or who I do not feel like calling on the phone as they probably think that if I am calling them something bad has happened.
