Default Freedom of the Press, great slap at politician

A local politician in Maryland threatened to sue a newspaper for using his name in an unflattering story about parking spaces. The newspaper's retort to this threat is wonderful.

Unfortunately the media has the hammer or as they use to say barrels and barrels of ink. This dispute is a prime example of what is wrong with the news media today. Seriously doesn't this reporter have more important business...yea and the politician too

Really? The newspaper was originally reporting on a local open meeting by elected officials. The politician claimed that they couldn't use his name unless they had his "permission".
