Default Get rid of time shares

We’ve lived in The Villages 3 years. Now that we live here we are not using our 2 timeshares and one of them is gouging us. We get lots of robocalls wanting us to attend “a dinner” to talk about time shares. I’ve read if they are looking for you to get rid of timeshare we should beware. I realize it will cost us to get rid of them and that’s fine. Do any of you have an attorney or some other means of getting rid of these albatrosses? Thanks for any help.

I would suggest reading the following advice from Clark Howard, famous cheapskate guy:

How to get rid of a timeshare - Clark Howard

Also, the radio financial guy, Dave Ramsey, endorses a service at "timeshareexitteam.com".

Both of these people are very trustworthy and provide good financial advice. Good luck.
