I need to read further and then read the article that has been linked by the OP. I haven't heard of that source before, but since I have not read the headlines on my computer from a list I keep in my head as credible (sans the frequent opinion pieces that are political) I am skeptical.

agreed. remember we had this scare back in the 70's? only then it was the african honeybee. they even made that 'disaster' movie, 'the Swarm.' it feels like these stories, like urban legends, have a way of making it back into the newstream every 10 years or so

Are you suggesting that something in the New York Times should be considered anything authoritative or even remotely reliable? Keep that up and you're going to lose your street cred.

At least it's a haven for Pulitzer prize winners compared to The Sun which, like The Hill, is an organ of Fox. It's called a tabloid which is like The National Inquirer, The New York Post, Daily Star and many others. In my mind, much less likely to stick to the facts or have Pulitzer prize honorees.

no joke, i wouldn't doubt that they deliberately started this like they did with the corona virus

mjpuleo 04-10-2020 02:03 PM

They are probably guided by 5G waves.

“Quick reply” Let’s quickly hear something funny ... it’s good for mental health & doesn’t cost anything🤪

What's funny is that the people scolding me for posting this keep commenting which keeps it on the front page.

I like to know how some folks avoid prosecution. Just a rhetorical question.

Social media news

Social media news is known to be inaccurate much of the time. Don’t believe everything you read on it. Thank God for the first Amendment and free press in this country. In addition, much of the Cable News (CNN, Fox, etc.) is filled with opinions as opposed to real news. I watch the evening news at 6:30 ET and rotate between the major networks to get what I believe overall is the most accurate unbiased reported news we can get today. I believe they try very hard to report accurately what you see and hear. We may interpret events differently but what you see and hear is what took place. Watching only one Cable Network all the time cannot, in my opinion, give you a well rounded diversified and accurate picture of events that are occurring on a regular basis in our country. Just before he died Steve Jobs was quoted as saying “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.” A profound thought from a dying man. I think what he said can be interpreted to mean living someone else’s opinions too. It’s up to us to make our own choices.
