Default Manatee Festival

Last year we swam with the Manatees in Crystal River. This year we were lucky to be here for the Crystal River Festival.
Great day out. Lots of vendors with unique gifts. Large food selection. Nice crowd.
......and of course a mermaid! My husband happily donated to the Manatees and got his picture taken with her. He is off to Walgreen's tomorrow to get a large print made for the wall.

What was the date the Crystal River Festival? Is it the same weekend every year?

Where do you go to be able to swim with the Manatees? Our grandkids are coming for a week and would love that. Thank you!

You need to go to Blue Springs State Park less than an hour east of TV. We saw nearly 300 manatees around the spring there. Here in Key Largo they swim up to our door on the canal looking for fresh water nearly daily!
