I sent my annual $5 today for my membership in Friends of the Villages Public Library, 325 Belvedere Blvd., The Villages, Florida, 32162.

They are having a special fund raiser breakfast at Up the Creek on March 8, 2008. Tickets are $5.00 with $4.00 from that going to purchase needed items for the Library and its patrons.

They can get some stuff for the library with funds collected by the Friends which are not part of the Sumter County Library budget.

Tickets for this breakfast are on sale at the Library. That's the one on Belvedere.

I sometimes buy stuff at the Friends Book Room.
