We had the couple over for dinner who gave us that Kool refreshing drink a couple of years ago.

Wonderful evening, although I still don't have a mixer down here and the mashed potatoes were lumpy.

The night before a neighbor sent a last minute invitation for dessert to several couples and that was another good time.

Quiet but very nice for us G's.

Just another fabulistic day in TV. Played 18 in the morning with my wife and friends, got home and went for a recreational ride in the golf cart with the dog. After that my wife and I met my Dad at Beef O'Brady's to watch the Patriot's game.

Gruelling schedule

PS. Today my lovely wife turned 55 making us "legal"! We are no longer "undocumented Villagers"

Halloween is a special day for me - both my mother and granddaughter's birthday. Only problem is one of them is in New York, the other in California. Oh well, saw one of them last week, will see the other one next month.

ajbrown, which O'Brady's did you watch the game? I seen it at a Gators in Spanish Springs but there wasn't many Pat's fans.I might spring for Direct TV and order the Football package.

We attended a costume Halloween party earlier in the month which was fun! On the 30th, we watched kids trick-or-treating at Spanish Springs square in their costumes.

But on Oct 31st we attended a concert at the Church on the Square to hear the Village Voices.

My Dad lives in Chatham, so we went up to the one in Mulberry that he and his friend go to. IMO Gator's Dockside has a better collection of TVs, but watching a game with Dad always trumps television size.

The one issue at this Beef Obrady's is that what you see on the HD sets is delayed by 5'ish seconds over the 27 inch NON HD televisions sets. There was a table of Vikings fans next to us, some watching the 27 inch set. I was watching an HD set and knew what was going to happen based on their reaction before I saw the play which was a bit funky.

They were funs folks and we joked all day.

Sounds like fun. I miss watching games with my father. I know what you mean about the delay. We used to watch the game with the TV muted and listen to the radio. Can't do that anymore. : (

Had a great day - 49ers beat Denver in London!

Giants beat Rangers in Dallas and are now 3 - 1 in World Series!!!

Bears didn't lose ! ! ! ! ! !

My wife bought enuf candy for about 30 kids - I went out and bought some more so that we could cover around 80 kids (like we had last year). Only had 20 kids

I'm just glad it's over because I'm sick of all the horror movies that are on TV leading up to Halloween starting about a month before. I like to watch AMC for all the old movies and that's all they played. How many times can you watch Jason and somebody go crazy with a chain saw?

We had a great time.
Went to Flats for awhile, then to Codys. They had a costume contest. It came down to me & my hubby, Gary. He ended up winning. He dressed as a woman & I think they were impressed by his size 13 heels. LOL
