In the eighties I would get criticized for using spouse, but I believe it is accepted in the 21st century.

Is my biological guardian considered a non value.

I never looked down my grandfather's drawers. Seems like a really sick and perverted suggestion. However, whatever "equipment" he may or may not have had, I referred to him as a he, and as papa. If he ever wanted me to refer to him as her and bubbie, I would have respected my elder's request.

Good for you, but sometimes I think it's not worth all the typing and posting to remind some people (who seem to not be able to read, or fly over print so fast to find only what they want to see (as you pointed out, YOU said nothing, you "referenced" an article, but then, some don't even understand what that means. Just skip over it and look for people who write kind things, innocent and sincere questions, need suggestions for things to do with their homes, etc. you know.... people who appear to have no pent up personality or anger problems, no bitterness or regrets, you can almost tell from the way they write how they feel about life, friends, their community, what they have and what they have accomplished, and those who seem to always have something to prove or display.

I work in a high school and in my social studies class, the other teacher(youngish fellow) said to me " your motherly instincts" while I was helping a student. I am coming to the opinion that the only way to break this "wokeness" is to require 2 years mandatory military service for all 18 year olds. Teach them reality before they get brainwashed in college.
