I watched it, although I did not hang in there during Bishop Curry's sermon on Love - I made breakfast instead!!!!

I was very impressed with Prince Charles, I have always considered him to be a bit odd, but he certainly came through for the bride and her Mother when the families went to sign the registrar. I think he will make an excellent King when the time comes.

Those Brits certainly know how to do a parade!

I did notice some eye rolling and looks of amazement on the faces of guests ................ later in the day I saw an interview with him and the Archbishop of Canterbury and he was totally different, very well spoken and had an excellent sense of humor - I think he got a bit carried away!

The reviews I've seen online...have predominantly been positive.

With a lot of comments along the lines of... "the Royals can use a little loosening up."

I guess even 'stiff upper lips'...need to bend skyward occasionally. :D

It was a lovely wedding! I TIVO'd it from PBS so it was quite long to watch (the pre-thing and all....) I was struck how quiet the Brits are in church---NO clapping to show appreciation for the music offered as is often done in the U.S. The Queen seemed so somber.....but the happy couple were fabulous!!!

I did some digging on Bishop Curry who it turns out is quite the radical and uses his office to proselytize his activist beliefs. It felt strange to observe an Episcopal Bishop inappropriately engage in a revival style of preaching a revisionist message in that setting at a formal British royal wedding. I would have been rolling my eyes, too, since he was being so undignified. It seemed bizarre and out of place to me. Amen.

I love the way the Brits pronounce tin foil.

I'm sorry. The joke bombed. That happens. But it was never at anyone's expense but my own. Think of it as a George Castanza moment.

It can suck when you're no longer the..."King of the county." :D

I wonder if it is recorded online? I heard also that the sermon was quite good. I watched some of it on many different media Facebook feeds. I found this off of Facebook-- “The Power of Love”— Bishop Michael Curry's sermon at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle | The Archbishop Of Canterbury

And what is it with all the hats? Is there a law about hats in UK weddings or just tradition like with the Kentucky Derby?

Strict dress code, one of them, hats must be worn by all women, as well as shoulders covered.

Loverly! Loverly!

Have you seen the picture of the bride’s beagle riding in the car with the queen?

Loverly, absolutely loverly! :)
