Nope, not me, I know I was born in the Bronx. As far as I'm concerned I am American.

I for one am fascinated with geneology. I'd begin working on the family tree---both sides but folks have already done that but not yet shared the fruits of their labor.

I've watched the t.v. shows on PBS and I believe network t.v. too where dna was taken to trace the "roots" of famous people. Fascinating to me!!! I've wondered where I could get a hold of a test for myself and if so, would it be expensive to get the results.

What little I do know is some of my ancestors were Scandanavian, Irish, Dutch, Prussian and ??? That's why I'd love to take the dna test.

I'm into the whole genealogy thing, just not from a DNA testing standpoint. I like knowing the story behind the facts. My mother's family is relatively easy to track, they've been in this country forever, fought in the Civil War and owned property.

I find it fascinating to go on google and look up the addresses, see how they look now and think about how it was back then.

Don't forget, that DNA goes much farther back than where we came from in Europe or Asia. We are all of African Decent if you go back far enough. That is fine with me. I have gone back to 1800's Italy and 1400's Britain, but I have no Idea what African tribal area I am from thousands of years ago. I may just take a look into that.

I was adopted and about 15 years ago I found my birth family. I had a brother who was "illegimate" and he thought that we might have the same father. He was raised by his grandparents as a change of life baby. So we did a dna test and it proved that we did have the same father. I found out his family came from Italy and I always wondered why I liked Italian food so much which explained it.

Just recently I took another dna test that showed your background as others have mentioned in this thread. I haven't gotten the results back yet.
