Default Historic Baker House

The historic Baker House located on CR 44A was built by former Florida State Senator David Baker about 1895. He moved here from Kentucky to pursue his dream of becoming a citrus farmer. The home is being restored to its former glory. Two more tours of the house are scheduled. The house is beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. Remaining tours are Dec 29th from 6:00 to 8:00 and Dec 30 from 10:00 to 3:30. The dining room and kitchen restorations have just been completed. More information is available at wed site The Baker House project.
