I use to do the same thing but it took a lot of my time. Recently I went to my email service (Xfinity/Comcast) via the website and created filters for spam by identifying the server (xxxxxx.com part of the Spam mail’s address). Now I let Comcast filter any emails from that server. My Spam email per day dropped dramatically! I do the same for new spam addresses the sneak through. Life is much simpler now! Just go on your email server’s website periodically and permanently empty the Spam folder.

Looks like your email has been "sold."

This happened to me about 10 years ago. My business address was through microsoft, which usually has a pretty good spam filter, but somebody sold my e-mail and within a week I was getting 900 pornographic emails per day and it wasn't slowing down. On my business e-mail. So I had to ditch that and get a new one.

What I've done ever since is have my business e-mail a paid for service like Microsoft and my personal e-mail a throwaway service like Gmail. For shopping etcetera I use the Gmail address. And I never mix the two. So if my Gmail gets sold I just throw it away and get another.

To manage them without having to go to two places download the outlook app and add them both in there you can see them both at the same time. It's been working for 10 years.

I didn’t know that you could order Russian women from Amazon and Walmart.

When your order online and they ask for an email address, your info gets sold and you get the unwanted emails.

Yes, & it’ll get worse, we might think Tik Tok has a lot of informative information on it & it’s from our Chinese friends, but can’t figure out why they banned Tik Tok from China, Don’t believe me, just ask someone that just came from China, I did because remember these people are coming over our border in Texas, & that’s where I live. So what your saying I believe!

Some of the unsubscribe links are really malware

Send messages you don’t want to junk or spam folders.

Sort by sender ... then all the junk aggregates in groups and it's much easier to find the 1 or 2 that may be important. Also, don't wait 22 days to do it.

The sooner you accept the fact that spam is Not a personal attack the sooner you’ll be at peace with the unfortunate side of technology.

It’s Not personal! Click empty and delete all and move on.

Just a few tips:
- "unsubscribe" isn't what it means. To you it means "take me off the list". To them it means "we've got a live one here!" and you'll get more spam
- Just opening the email tells them they have a real person. Often the spam emails contain links that personally identify you, and when you just open the email to read it, your email reader fetches those links.
