Still doesn't answer the question is it real or not.

Gelato in Italy was too rich for me. Tried it a few times and gave up. I prefer ice cream made without eggs. I believe it's called Philadelphia style.
If the virus goes away and we do go back to Italy will look at the containers it is sitting in. Loved the taste of Gelato in Italy have had it elsewhere and just not the same.

Pralines and cream has been my favorite for years but sea salt caramel is a near second.

Does anyone remember the Good Humor ice cream truck with the Good Humor man in the white uniform? Our Good Humor mans name was Jerry. The Chocolate Eclair, coconut bar, or how about the X15 popsicle shapes like a space ship. Those were the days. All the kids came out of their homes and gathered at the Good Humor truck.

Chocolate chip for me (NOT mint, or cookies & cream, or other variations). This simple option is surprisingly VERY hard to find though. I'll settle for coffee or strawberry. Also like maple walnut. My favorite ice cream bar was the chocolate eclair that had a chocolate fudge bar hidden inside around the stick.

You better scoop up all you could find. People who see racism in everything think this is an affront to the Eskimos so they will be taking them off the market.

Growing up in Michigan we had a dairy that made their own ice cream and I loved their blue moon. It had some pineapple in it. Nothing like you can buy at the grocery store.

We had good humor and Mr Softee, been so long I forgot about him.

Also carvel stores back than.

Favorite store in Brooklyn was an ice cream shop called Jahns which had a creation called the kitchen sink which was a huge bowl filled with over a dozen scoops of ice cream and lots of flavorings.

Needed a village to finish it.

We used to go to the Jahn's in Richmond Hill, Queens. I think my brother and I would split a "Super Duper."
