Don't believe everything you hear. Even salt looks like sugar.

He did make some awesome cowboy pictures.

Hang em High and Good the Bad and the Ugly were two of his best.

rmd2 07-28-2020 05:44 PM

The hardest part would be staying awake for 24 hours.

Topspinmo 07-28-2020 09:18 PM

I can tell you one movie you would earn the million bucks! 200 motels , early 70’s, the only movie where 90% walked out in first 20 mins.

olliedog1950 07-29-2020 04:53 AM

I'm going with some oldies:
Send Me No Flowers
Mr. Blandings builds His Dream House
Mr. Hobbs Takes A vacation
Let It Ride
Jaws
The Odd Couple
But The Best Movie: The Blues Brothers - Great Music, Great Comedy and the Best Car Chase Ever

EdFNJ 07-29-2020 07:39 AM

Hamilton, Apocalypse Now (original cut) & Close Encounters of the Third Kind (original cut as well).

Frank Zappa for the win! How can you not love a film with Ringo Starr dressed up as Frank Zappa and such memorable songs as "This Town Is A Sealed Tuna Sandwich"?

Plan 9 from Outer Space went down in history

I wouldn't want to watch a favorite movie, as I would be sick of it after 24 hours and would never want to see it again. I would prefer to watch something I hated; a movie that I wanted to walk out of in the middle of, as it made no sense or was simply awful. The one that comes to mind is "The English Patient", a great example of a terrible motion picture that won the best picture Academy Award. I would have 24 hours to figure out what the Academy voters saw that made them think this was a good film. Boring, boring, boring.

Good strategy! If you still couldn't figure out after 24 hours you know it's terrible.

Saw the English Patient and my favorite part was when I slept.

Same here. Although if forced to, I would go with A Hard Day's Night.

Betty Wagner 07-30-2020 08:18 AM

What would I watch

Somewhere In TIme

Halibut 07-30-2020 03:29 PM

If I'm flipping channels and happen on this movie, I'll always stay and watch it to the end: Tremors.

It's silly fun and come on -- Burt and Heather Gummer.

Hmm think you are only supposed to watch one movie over and over.

It is a shame more of the Ludlum books didnt become movies.

I do watch the same movie every year for 24 hours, but I don't get a million dollars for it. My family watches "A Christmas Story" marathon every year. It's a family tradition that is carried on in their households, too.

If I had to choose another one, it would probably be "The Day the Earth Stood Still" (1951 version) or "The World, The Flesh and the Devil." I really like aliens and disaster movies!
