Now this is downright mean, but here goes ........... love to see the man on the phone with the (presumably) wife and he's saying "well they have it in a red box, but I cannot see a blue box, what about the green box? So if they don't have that what else shall I get"!

For the record, my other half does not shop unless I write it down in triplicate, tell him exactly what aisle and which level shelf and how much it is. Now if it's not in the right aisle (but has been moved to the end of the aisle), we never get it! So the moral of this and the sake of my blood pressure - I do the shopping

That's exactly what happens at our house. Fireboy will come home and say things like "I couldn't find any cereal at Publix". :lipsrsealed:

I always make a list and it stays on the table at home. Duh.

Guess I will let the secret out. If we act like we incapable of doing something we know "the wife" will take care of it. Works for washing clothes and dishes, and cleaning the house as well.

I wonder if Skype in video mode would help.

A husband, i.e Fireboy, can mount the smartphone to his hat so the camera points at the food on the shelves. And his wife, from home, the pool or the golf course can talk him through the selection, purchase and right to the car in the parking lot.

For most of us, headphones may be required. :)

If I mounted one on Doug's hat, I am sure his would mal(e)function.

I predict a long and happy life for the two of them.

And another thing:

Ladies, if a man says he will fix it, he will... There's no need to remind him every six months about it....

I have a blue list on the fridge with cobwebs on it. I guess there is still hope.
