Default Interesting Fact Regarding Bees

On a collection flight from the hive, a honeybee visits between 50 and 100 flowers.

Workers bees make only about 1/12 teaspoon of honey in a single lifetime.

Thank you Bay Kid for being a nice person. With good common sense and a reasonable attitude and tell your parents they did a great job raising you.

I am so glad we survived the hurricane and are here to talk about bees.

I was a beekeeper on Long Island for a couple of years as a hobby. I sold some to friends and gifted to relatives. A divorce necessitated my exit of the home where the bees were kept on the property; so I gave away the hives. I enjoyed it and gained greater respect for our relationship with these pollinators.
