My friend just bought a new Jaguar F Type convertible and brought it over to show my wife and me. After he left my 75 year-old wife exclaimed "That's the most beautiful car I've ever seen!".
Maybe when you're as old a many of us Villagers are you're not so worried about possible maintenance problems with your car 'cause you don't have to get to work. And not so worried about maintence problems years down the road for the same reason you don't need shingles with a 50-year guarantee. |

Oh, and both mine were built in England. |
I drive a Porsche Macan and love it//
My wife drives a Lexus 350 RX and loves it as well Knock on wood ..we have had Zero quality issues and was recently offered more then i paid for the Macan by the dealer as they are having chip supply issues and cant make enough Would have loved to buy the Porsche true sports car but my knees would not allow a graceful exit..lol |
I have always absolutely loved the styling of Jaguars, but I would not touch one with a 10-foot pole. I have better things to do than sit in a repair shop.

Think you have some names mixed up. The Buick Envison is built in China. The Cascada was built in Poland.

I own a 2020 E Pace Jaguar SUV I love it and it lives in Colorado!
I love my Jaguar!

I miss my Jaguar. It was the low-end X-type sports package model. In MGB Racing Stripe green (which I called money green). And a burlwood dash. 6-way automatic heated leather seats with lumbar support. Climate control, automatic windshield wiper sensors, heated side mirrors (they defrosted themselves). A subwoofer in the back. 6-cd changer. Long, sleek, sexy curves. It wasn't my #1 Jaguar dream-car but I got it for $20k still under warranty so I couldn't say no. Lost the transmission on it a year later and traded it in for the piece of crap tin can I still drive today, 12 years later.
If I'm ever super wealthy, I'll buy TWO Jaguars. 1985 XJ Vanden Plas, fully restored, both in racing stripe green, with updated sound system. Need two, so that I always have one to drive while the other is in the shop being fixed. It's the same as owning a Harley. |
