Do you actually believe it would be hard to find out whom was on that jury. How would one hide their being gone for that period without telling someone who then tells someone else, etc.

There has not been a secret in this country since the government built the town of Oak Ridge, TN right under the nose of almost everyone.

Yes, Monkei I do believe it can be kept a secret.

She is after the bucks and fame, her one shot at the big time. Allying with the Jackson - Sharpton professional race baiters gives her "protection". If I were a juror coming out on the side that justice was done I would be afraid for my life and remain anonymous.

You are making a lit of assumptions. I for one am sick and tired of reading and complaining about people getting subsistence from the government ... How about channeling your opinions to the real drag on society and the economy ... Corporate greed. The ones making record profits yet still getting tax breaks for starters. The ones who can afford high priced attorneys hell rooms full of them, just to get out of paying that last dollar in taxes.

Lets get off the cost of food stamps and get on the real problem.

Al Sharpton

"The Brawley case that captivated New York in the late eighties is a shocking reminder of the toxic mix racial exploitation and personal ambition can produce. The New York Times and Retroreport.org have just released a new 15-minute documentary on the despicable hoax, which should be required viewing for the NBC News executives who are heavily invested in rehabilitating a key culprit of this loathsome episode: the Rev. Al Sharpton."

So you would agree that Limbaugh is a bum, right? Coulter also. People that say and do thing just to be abrasive to others? I am trying to figure out your standards for whom is qualified to get your "bum" ranking.

I would say the Tawana Brawley hoax and Yankel Rosenbaum murder were more than abrasions.

I did not see a thread on your subject.

I responded to a poster not knowing how he made his money, and advising what a fan he/se was.

As the key player here in this case, it seemed prudent to respond to those specific posts concerning Mr Sharpton

I think you may have taken a wrong turn somewhere. This thread is about a juror in the ZImmerman case, which had as a star Mr Sharpton, thus his name came up and folks responded to the admiration shown by a poster and a question on his income.

Never saw these folks mentioned that you keep mentioning.

Bum was not a nice word...he should have his own TV show....maybe be a leader for race relations.....a maybe an advisor to the POTUS on taxes.....OH wait he is one.

Quite the comeback for a guy who committed fraud, evaded taxes, still does not pay them, etc. YOur obvious admiration and defense is very admirable. We all have our heros and you and at least one other poster have chosen yours.

This thread is hopelessly off topic, political, rife with name calling and therefore will be closed. Topics of general interest concerning current events can be discussed as long as the discussion stays civil, on topic, avoids name calling, and stays away from partisan labeling/bashing.
