Liquid car wash. It has some protectant in it and gives it a little shine.

Simple Green is good, also, they make a cleaner especially for pressure washers. If you have vinyl siding, becareful not to get the pressure water underneath the siding, or on the caulking around the windows. It can remove the seal.

Check with your power washer instructions, mine has very specific warnings about what to put in the tank. Having stated that, if you go to ACE they have a very good selection of cleaners specifically designed for power washers. NOTE: do not use chlorine, this will permanently damage most if not all power washers. Also, let them know if you are just general cleaning, or if you have mold, there are specific cleaners for mold.

Power washrs are not good around windows and doors with glass because they will break the seals.

Tip for the day, don't run it without water pressure supplied. (This means connect water hose, lines, turn the water on push all the air out of the hoses and pump). Running the pump dry will overheat it and will eventually ruin it. Another tip, don't leave cleaner fluid in the tank or internal lines, flush it out with water after use or it will eventually get hard and plug the up and won't dispense the soap/cleaner fluid if you leave in in there for few months before the next use.
I would also lube the connecting hose o-rings before each use, connecting them dry will eventually rip the o-rings and eventually get flat and not seal. Thank you, THANK YOU VERY MUCH |
