Tomorrow-Wednesday the 22nd and Thursday the 23rd, the Villages Concert Band will be performing at the Savannah Center at 7PM. I was told there are still some tickets left for both performances.
Also, I have been informed that about 600 tickets have been snapped up for the Villages Masquerade Ball also at the Savannah Center on Halloween night Friday the 31st beginning at 7PM. So there are a few ducats left for this event also. Music for the dance and social will be by the Villages Swing/Dance Band.

Well the two nights of the concerts by the Villages Concert Band is now over and was a resounding success. To those of you who were there on Wenesday or Thursday evenings, we appreciated your attendence and support.
But wait, it's not over yet. This coming Friday, a week from tonight is the Halloween Masquerade Ball at the Savannah Center. Music furnished by the Villages Swing/Big Band. My understanding is there are a few tables left so you might want to get those tickets soon.
For a sample of what we are going to do, you are once again invited to our last rehersal prior to the Ball. The rehersal will be held, as always, at the Mulberry Rec Center from 2:30 to 4:30 next Thursday, the day prior to the Ball. We'd like to see you there.

This Thursday, Oct 30 will be the last practice for the Villages Swing Band prior to their engagement for the Halloween Masquerade Ball the following night (Oct 31). If you'd like to drop by for awhile and hear some of the numbers we will be doing at the Masquerade Ball, please feel free to come by and tap you feet, clap your hands or snap you fingers. (2:30-4:30)
You can hear what the following nights offing is going to be.
Also, it has not been announced to the public yet, but the VSB will also be doing a gig at the Central Florida Carriage Museum on Dec 17th.
We don't know yet, if that is going to be a freebie or if tickets will be needed.
