Very true. Actions speak a lot louder than any words.

I get from this thread that some think that he might be justified for his anger at his dismissal. But as I said before, that isn't enough to justify killing a bunch of people.

Please explain. Is the LAPD so corrupt in your opinion to be completely not trusted?

I have seen the stories of violence but excessive force does happen everywhere sometimes.

I wonder what other people who live near LA feel about the law enforcement community.

It was ultimately the San Bernardina Police Force that was in charge during the fire.

Being "against" a police force is new to me.

It is usually a powerful clique that cannot be trusted. Not the entire department of whatever. You saw this at Penn State with the football program and again with the Catholic Church scandal involving widespread sexual abuse by priests.

We all knew from day one. He was not going to be taken alive.
He had a story and it wasn't to be told..When police are so paranoid as to shoot innocent public because their vehicle looked similar speaks loudly.

I remember being near a mudslide which occurred at Davis Creek Park in Washoe County, Nevada back in the early 1980s and they did not seem to get the facts right for a few days. Same with this Dorner story. The facts change as they investigate.

I got a call from my Grandmother in MA wondering if I had to run from the mud.

I was listening (don't know why, though) to Michelle Malkin on Hannity's show ranting about Dorner's Internet posting and that he was praising certain movie actors and actresses - and therefore, somehow, Hollywood was to blame for his actions. This is not a political comment but rather is a comment about Michelle Malkin's demented way of thinking. She is even more venomous than Ann Coulter who, at least, tries to inject some humor to her writing.

I kind of like Ann Coulter's humor at times. Not familiar with Malkin's views. Not sure how Hollywood could have helped Dorner if he had tried that route before becoming violent. Violence is never the answer and doubt if almost anyone in Hollywood would condone Dorner's killing spree.

NBC News reported tonight that the charred body found in the cabin has been positively identified as being Christopher Dorner. They also had a couple on that reported that they were the two people tied up by Dorner when they returned to their cabin and found him hiding. They are the ones that broke loose and called police. The earlier reports of the two maids must has been erroneous.

Why are you yelling ??? One mans opinion - i guess the video showed something that proved unnecessary force was used to restrain king -- do you know first hand about the lapd being one of the finest law enforcement org --- or is this your opinion also

He may have had a story to tell, but you don't go around killing people to tell it.

In my opinion - he got what he deserved !
