Story in the Boston Herald today says that in 2012 the state stopped welfare payments because the family was earning income in excess of the amount allowed to be earned and collect welfare. Apparently the wife was working 80 hours a week while the husband/terrorist stayed home. Nice guy!

Could you explain? I haven't read on this thread any post that has not appeared to understood how evil an extremist threat is. And that this was an act of terrorism. And that this was indeed evil. And these boys were doing jihad or whatever they call it.

It seems to me that everyone understands the seriousness of this whole issue and that it could very well happen again tomorrow, for the very same reasons.

We see things differently. The bomb in Boston was intentional. The bomb in Texas was not an accident. An accident is when you are safely driving your car and a kid darts out between parked cars and you hit him. It is not an accident when that child is crossing at the cross walk and you fly through a stop sign and hit him. I will agree to disagree - don't have enough facts about Texas to make that determination - that is was an intentional fault of the owner. Just don't know that yet.

I haven't heard anything along those lines but I too was highly suspicious when it happened as it was so close to the 20th anniversary of the Branch Davidian awfulness. Then they are saying it was an industrial accident, but STILL under investigation as to cause....

That is not a reasonable argument and here is its logical extension. You are angry that they were receiving government assistance and I suspect you don't like much about the "takers" on government assistance. The brothers also took mass transit in Boston in government busses and on government roads. They used government supported cell phones and government supported internet. Are you going to rail against all the benefits used by these terrorists and say that it was the taxpayers who funded the roads they rode upon and the busses they used. Of course not. They qualified for help and they got it until they no longer qualified. I think their mosque also got an exemption from paying property taxes. So that means the taxpayer supported their mosque

I'll bet you might get a whole different opinion, if you also pointed out all of the people who will receive more benefits from Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid...than they ever put in.

Latest being reported here in Massachusetts this morning is that both parents are flying to Boston sometime today but unclear as to which airline and what time.........and....they intend to hold a press conference when they arrive........this should be interesting.
