Hi everyone. Please keep my 6 month old grand daughter, Brynn in your thoughts as she is in the hospital with the flu. She has had vomiting and diarrhea for 3 days now and she is a weak, sick little baby. She was admitted last night and has a low white count and is on IV fluids. She will have to stay tonight too. She's just a whif of a thing....12 pounds so she doesn't need to lose any more weight. She never cries and is such a happy baby. Lets put all of our energy together for her to have a speedy recovery!! Thanks a bunch!!

Prayers do work........so be confident of that. Mine join the many other posters' prayers for the baby to make a full recovery.
Our five month old grand daughter also was hospitalized last month in Denver, Colorado in a children's hospital. The entire family had what they thought were common colds. The baby couldn't nurse nor breathe. The pediatrician felt he could do no more. The pharmacist forgot to send the test for whooping cough in???? That is the reason the baby was hospitalized as they thought she had whooping cough which is an epidemic of sorts now........... long story short, she was put on oxygen, etc., etc.........and did improve. Went home at the end of the week.
Perfectly healthy and chubby now. THANK GOD.
Prayers for your grandbaby on the way.........it's a totally helpless feeling to be so far away.
P.S. I forgot to mention that whatever doctors or nurses entered the baby's room......had to wear the equivelent of a HAZMAT suit.
Our daughter in law got to sleep in the room with the baby............while our son watched the older daughter at their home.
