Default Marion Market Fire

Looks like Marion of Markets may be closed for a while. See Video:

Boy, it sure looked bad on tv last night! I’m sure they don’t want people driving over there to see for themselves, but I am curious as to how much was damaged. Those poor vendors. Am hoping they take their inventory with them when it closes during the week.

I also think that if it doesn’t get back up and running, the snowbirds will really be disappointed when they get here, as am sure many go there.

Many "non snowbirds go there also". Including me, I love the place!

Market of Marion - Home | Facebook

"Update: for all the stories going around Facebook the investigation is still ongoing but there seems to be NO suspicion of foul play. The only aisle with fire damage is C south there is some smoke damage down the main aisle. At this time no one is permitted inside the market property. We will keep you updated on what the plan is for the weekend! Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers!"

I really like the MOM and I hope the damage is easily repaired and the vendors can get back to their shops.

You can always try the Webster market. It's only open certain days as I remember.

Hmmmm Rumor has it interest rates are going down ( Mortgage ), the site is ripe for low cost 2 Bedroom 2 Bath Housing. That is the trend. Belleview and Summerfield perfect location.

All I can say is..... a coincidence .... hmmmm

How does this relate to the fire at Market of Marion?

I think it sounds like he's implying that the fire might've been intentional so they could collect on insurance and develop low-income housing there? Or something in that line of thinking. Something nefarious.
