Default Drywall Shortage

Any body else hearing about a drywall shortage??

The USA went thru a mess (a few years back) with drywall from China. Some of it right here in TV. It's my understanding, we still import a significant amount of drywall from China. I've heard twice (have not confirmed with my hairdresser), the shortage is on our front step.

Jus wondering.

Word has it that all the drywall manufacturers have converted their factories to producing toilet paper.

One thing that won’t affect me, my house already built and I don’t plan on making any indoor improvements for long while. I’ll probably move first.

I heard the golf ball factories are going to be converted to make wrappers for toilet paper now that production is in ballistic mode. There might be golf ball shortage. The horror

That shouldn’t be allowed since golf is an essential business. I hear they are going to recycle all the green fee recitpts to wrap the TP.

We are in the process of building now. Our project manager told us everything is on schedule for a May closing.

I am so SICK & TIRED of getting nearly everything from another country. I really do hope that many businesses will rebuild in the US and by-pass China as the only source. You just can't rent countries to support you.
