Question Movie schedule

Noticed in yesterdays & todays paper that the latest any movie starts in TV is 7:30 p.m. Did they do away with "later starting" movies or is it only on weekends? I'm sure I've seen movies starting around 9 - 9:30 p.m. recently, but again, it could have been a weekend???? Thanks.

I just checked the schedule on-line, and for the weekdays the last show is at 7:30 or so, and on Friday there is a 9:00 or 9:30 show. So I guess they run a later show on the weekends.

Thanks, Steve. Thought that might be the case, but didn't think to check further, like you did. Thanks again.

Not being a resident yet, but do "weekends" really make a difference in the daily habits of a largely retired population? Isn't that the beauty of retirement - every day is a weekend? Or, do old habits never die, and even in retirement, weekends are special?

I doubt the 9:30 shows are attended by the retirees.Probably more attend from outside TV on the w/e's.

The last showtimes for movies in TV Mon-Thurs are around 7-7:40; on Friday, Saturday and (I think) Sunday most of the movies have a later showing around 9:00-9:30.

It is just a short drive up to a 16-plex in Ocala (or to a large movie theatre at the mall in Leesburg) where they have later showtimes every night, as most of us are used to before moving here.
