Default Movies....Oscar buzzers usually at RIALTO

It is too bad there is not a committee to agree on WHICH theater movies should go when they open here in The VIllages. Lately, and usually, Lake Sumter Landing gets a lot of comedies, B movies, animations, and the good dramas, many of them with Oscar hopes, seem to always go to the Rialto.
Once again, here comes the highly touted Amelia, and once again, there it is at the Rialto. The Lake Sumter LAnding movies tend to cater to younger people, and the rich historic, dramas, always seem to end up at the Rialto.
Hope to draw attention to this trend, and get some better movies here in Lake Sumter Landing.

Default Rialto

I agree. Sometimes it seems that Sumter Landing is more of a family movie house, whereas the more adult movies go to the Rialto. The demographics just don't make sense.

Think about it. If they put the family, and kiddy movies at Rialto then many kids from the surrounding areas will come because its closer proximity to Leesberg/Bellview/and surrounding golfing communities like Dell Webb.

TV 1st thoughts are to sell and having visuals of kids and young persons around hurt sales.

Without the support of the local community the theaters would probably close.
BTW there is a sales office in LSL.

That is true and am aware of it when I posted. However they bring guests through the other side of the square and as you may have noticed have wrapped the buildings around that parking lot in such a way that it makes you take a wide ride around to get to the square. Not like old SS where the street is on both sides of the building with easier access for carts and vehicles.

You gotta applaud them. TV have thought everything out for the mighty $$$$ and is the only community like it in the world.

Think about it. We all live in something spectacular that nobody else has duplicated.

WOW! SOLD ME.
