Well, I'm not a guy, but I served too. USN enlisted, 1977-1990. 3 four year tours; NAS Millington, NETC Newport, back to NAS Millington.

I want to thank each and everyone of you for your service. I had two uncle's who served my dad's middle brother was in Vietnam for two tours with the Army and his oldest sisters husband served 32 years in the Navy.

I truly admire all of you. Thank you again.

Served in Air Wings ( RA-5C, A-7, F-4-A-4) aboard 7 carriers in 21 years. Ranger, Forrestal, Lexington, Independence, Antietam, Enterprise, and Constellation. Made 5 WestPac and 3 Med cruises all working the Flight Deck.

I was onboard the USS Boxer, LPH-4 during the Cuban missile blockade. I was ship's company as an E-4 Hospital Corpsman. The Boxer was designated to be a medevac recipient hospital after off-loading the Marine grunts. Never happened, but we were prepared. Richard

I was on the USS Davis DD937 after Bainbridge, MD electronic school from 1964 - Dec 1966 making multiple Med cruses, tour in Vietnam and Santo Domingo blockade, crossed equator, international date line, traversed both canals and circumnavigated the world as a FT2

I was in NAS Norfolk 1959 left 1/60 in VP-8 ASW aircrew

USN 1974 - 1994, 20 years 21 days (but who's counting). Mostly in Norfolk VA with two years of strenuous sea duty in Jamaica. Served on USS American and COMPHIBRON Six and shore duties.

Served on CVS36 Antietam 56-59 training pilots out of Mayport/Pensacola.

We went up the Mississippi to New Orleans a couple times, a real tight squeeze for 100 miles!!

I was an EM3 electrician, stood a lot of generator watches in the HOT boiler room.

My husband was on the uss Talbot County on LST 1153. He was also involved in the Cuban Missile Crisis. He would like to get together with like members.

WOW! I've been out of the Navy for almost 35yrs, and looking at most of these dates, it makes me feel like I just left?! '82-'86. An old tin can out of Mayport(Jax), which they're trying to make a museum, and put in St John's river.

Was on the Aircraft Carrier USS Hancock CVA 19 from 1972-1975 (W Division). Made two Westpac cruises during the Vietnam war. Worked on nuclear weapons. To all that have thanked me for my service, you are very welcome! Glad to help everyone in the USA be free.

1968 - 1972, two west pak tours as an aviation fire control technician on the USS Ranger and the USS Enterprise. Home base was NAS Whidbey Island, Washington State.

USS Annapolis AGMR-1 : Japan, Vietnam, Philippines, Mauritius, Angola, Senegal, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Greece
US ComSta Argentia, Newfoundland.
USS Tringa ASR-16 :Key West, Portugal, Spain, Majorca, France, Monaco, Italy, Greece, Crete, Sardinia, Madera.
