Default new town square

Does anyone know when the new square (Brownwood??) is set to open? Has there been any building activity?

Although I've seen some predictions for 2009, I think TV's is still saying it's still in the conceptual stage.

If TV area doesn't have its' own unique self-sustaining economic forces, it will be subject to similar market forces as most of the rest of the state. In the rest of the state, commercial projects are on hold for an extra year or so due to slower residential development - the new customers aren't there. Consequently, I would not be surprised if the new center begins construction a year or so beyond any estimates previously given.

However, TV may be different. Houses are still being built, people are still moving in, albeit at a bit slower rate (I assume). That means TV economy is self-perpetuating and not subject to the same forces as is the lagging state/federal economy. There is even a large marketing effort in Great Britain! Commercial tenants are attracted by continuing residential growth, which there is plenty of.

Was told that everything is being built to Electric specs...Apparently they feel that in the near future Electric will be a better deal than gas........
