Wow. We are getting all spiffed up, but I was a little surprised by this statement in the opening remarks;

2006 wasn't "before social media".

I think that TOTV was started about sixteen years ago and that wasn't "before social media".

Social media certainly was around back in 2006.

I recall some of Talk Host's speech at the Villages Computer Club in July of 2007.

Some of the people in the crowd registered because by doing so they were in the running for some kind of trip if my memory serves. But most of these people never even posted.

TOTV was geared for getting practical information to people living in the Villages who who had a desire to move here.
