Default Newspaper's plastic bags Recyclable?

They seem to be a different type of plastic than the grocery store ones which are recyclable. Can they go with the grocery ones into the stores' recycle bins?

If not, into the Villages' weekly recycling?

No to weekly recycling. I drop mine off in the Publix bin but make sure they're grouped in their own bundle just in case they're not recyclable.

Reuse them as dog poop bags.

I believe Operation Shoebox collects them. They also collect crossword puzzles from the newspapers. The puzzles are placed in the plastic bags. Operation Shoebox sends items to our troops overseas. They meet at Lake Miona on Monday's.

Yes they are recyclable .... at the some location(s) that you would drop off "grocery" type plastic bags

No .... you can NOT put them out with your curb side recycling.

Try putting one bag on top of another, or one inside the other. If you keep doing this day after day you will end up with a very firm object that looks like a torpedo. It takes about three months to make one "torpedo." At the end you should finish up with the one that says, "The Villages". It looks nicer, like something you might use as a float in the swimming pool.

They look so nice I hate to turn them in; I have enough torpedos to sink a battleship.

Great! Thank you. Could you tell me from where you learned this?
