There weren't any last fall or the spring before, either--just after my husband spent $$ on a bra for the car.

Here's your answer: The Love Bug burrows into the ground and places the larvae... Now the only real enemy that a love bug has is Rain...we had quite a bit of heavy downpours at the right time...Timing is everything as the saying goes.

So with that in mind it did a real good job @Carpet Bombing the " Larvae " with Rain . Looking ahead to September I think were looking pretty good.
