Default Nuvi gps

My GPS has decided to stop acquiring satellite signals. Is this problem fixable or do I need to buy a new one? Yes I can get my travel needs on my phone but the NUVI offers me plenty without using up my phone battery. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are using your phone in the car (I use the "waze" app) plug it in just like you would your Nuvi. It comes up on my large car screen because it is connect by BlueTooth. The dealership did it all for me or get an 8 year old. I am still trying to figure out how to set the clock on the Microwave.

I now have 2 garmins in the junk drawer!

Did you happen to do an update just prior to the problem? I had a problem recently after an update and had to rerun the update to get it to work properly.

I've been using a Garmin Nuvi 1450 for many years. Although it was still working okay, I found the small screen hard to see and a little distracting. I recently upgraded to a 7 inch Garmin DriveSmart 65 and couldn't be happier. It has a bright, clear display in any light and has voice controls, built in traffic and Trip Advisor. If you decide to replace the Nuvi, this is a great upgrade.

Thanks everyone for the advice & suggestions..I’ve done all the troubleshooting steps & so far no luck. I’m thinking I should just buy a new one. Thanks again

I would buy a phone plug for my car and save about $150...
