Default Pawn Stars

I enjoy watching the show Pawn Stars! Wondering if anyone has been and what did you think? Do they live up to the one on the reality show? I will have to go check one out one of these days....

That television show "Pickers" is also interesting! Trash to treasure. . .

Pawn Stars and American Pickers are two of our favorite shows. Lots of fun to watch...and alway learn things I didn't know and/or I had forgotten.

I started watching just a few weeks ago. There are lots of re-runs, so plenty to see. Very entertaining.

I also watch both and enjoy them. There is another show on the reality tv channel, I think it's called extreme pawn. Shot in Detroit at a huge shop. Totally different than Pawn Stars. People trying to pickup stuff they already took out, owners learning how to carry and shoot guns to protect themselves, death threats, swearing(bleeped),etc.

My wife and I spent a week in Vegas last June. We went to the pawn shop. They weren't filming at that time. It's like any pawn shop, except they now sell chumlee coffee cups and ball caps, all have the same stuff for sale. The shop seems a little larger on The TV than in person. I saw several items for sale that I reconized from the show. The shop isn't in the nicest part of Vegas, but not to bad it's downtown about 3 blocks from the Gold Nugget

I enjoy that show lot (along with American Pickers).
The only thing that's a bit annoying is that they are starting to do routines that are clearly scripted (and they are not very good actors). The show works on it's own without them trying to juice it up.
