Thanks for the laugh!

Glad the executive courses are much improved now though

it is funny you said that , they could end illegal immigration that way also!!

Wow. I cannot believe how much hate is spewed by most of the posters here. The death penalty for protesting? Really? Yet, these same people would probably be fine if people who shared their fantasies protested, vandalized, and even killed people.

Apparently on their way out, a drunk fan ran up to one of the protesters and gave him a upper cut to the jaw. The protester was immediately knocked out. "

Good point.

Seems as if misinformed idealism and respect for law usually have an inverse relationship.

Back in Minnesota, 4 - 5 years ago or so, "protestors" took over a stretch of I-94 between Minneapolis and St. Paul, effectively closing both directions of what is perhaps the busiest stretch of freeway not only in the Twin Cities but the state, effectively shutting it down for quite a stretch of time. Media pictures showed not only the protestors but the sizeable traffic backup. There are several hospitals on that stretch. Media also wondered publicly if an ambulance had been caught up in the traffic backup, or unreasonably delayed because of rerouting, and the patient being transported died as a result. Or a fire truck speeding to a fire also delayed or stopped and someone or several someones died as a result. Entirely possible.

I think favoring the death penalty for protesting is an exaggeration based on emotion, and very few if any thinking people would actually favor it. But in cases like the ones mentioned above, where thankfully such a situation did NOT arise, and considering that the people protesting knew that they'd be stopping traffic and possibly hindering rescue vehicles--what WOULD the appropriate consequence under the law be if a death actually occurred and was attributable to the actions of the protestors?

this does their cause no good...blocking highways does their cause no good. lgbq parades do their cause no good...

Absolutely barbaric. I hope the bunch of them end up in jail. The protesters and whoever decided that they had the right to punch one of them.

Unfortunately for people like these protesters the only thing they may understand is being taken out behind the woodshed for a while and let them limp on home bloody and bruised. They may think twice about disrupting peoples lives and damaging property next time.
Most likely they will spend an hour or so in lock up, little or no fines and sent home to plan their next event.

A stiff sentence, and a felony on their forever record

Like they did with the BLM violent protesters , injuring police , destroying police cars , looting and burning businesses given a slap on the wrist .

donfey 06-24-2024 07:20 AM

Treating them like "peaceful protesters" certainly hasn't worked!
