I would love to find out if she was a great a personality in real life, as she sometimes portrayed, on the screen.

Judy Dench and Robert Redford...definitely although I would also really love to spend a day with Meryl Streep!

I saw a number of interviews with Merlyl and a number of interviews with other actors talking about Meryl. Some say she is from another planet. They don't know how she transforms herself into someone else including accents. One said that she could be crying in anguish in a broken polish accent and when they director yells cut, asked her co-star in her regular laughing voice where they were going for drinks after work. She also has 4 children spread over many years. She is a genuinely sweet, normal person from NJ.

If she comes over to my house, I'll give you a shout out. :)

My mother used to know a neighbor or some such of Meryl Streep. She said that she is very down-to-earth and kind-hearted.
