I love these 'feel good pictures'. Gracie, thank you for posting. I especially loved seeing the puppy and adult Great Pyrenees. We lost our pyr and after having pyrs for most of my adult life can not have another due to living in TV because they bark so much (often and LOUDLY!). Knowing we were moving to TV we made the decision not to get another pyr when our last one died for fear of being run out on a rail. We miss having a pyr in our lives but seeing the pict brings back a lot of joyous times.
Including a link to a very fun site of Borzoi pictures. Just a note that a couple (or is it 3) picts show afghans, not zoi. Enjoy.
It's About Time We Sat Down And Talked About Borzois

CFrance, they are Borzoi. They used to be called Russian Wolfhounds many years ago they became known as Borzoi, although people still know both names. Thank you. We love their sweet gentle nature in a large powerful dog. Someday perhaps we can have a doggy playdate.

That's the name I was trying to remember--Russian Wolfhound. I know they are Borzois. Hopefully we can meet up at DDRR one day. I would love to see them.

Two? You don't like the black one?

CFrance 11-09-2013 09:07 PM

Of course I do. I love both Gracie's cats.

Oh, giant DUH on my part, lol! Of course you know Borzoi. The link said that name. Sorry, guess I should pay more attention to my own posts. I would love to do DDR and I love Goldens. We have a friend with 2- one old and sweet and one a puppy with only 3 good legs and a very disabled 4th leg that has so much heart and energy and can keep up with any 4 legged dog. A beautiful thing to see.
We can't wait to get this winter over with and move down to TV full time!
