We like to doctor up Palmero's thin-crust frozen pizza. Try it you'll like it.

We Love their Wednesday Special on Pizza. BOGO. We Often travel over there for 2 to go on Wed. Freezes well. Worth it. |
We were in Italy in 2022, and sampled pizzas in many areas...Naples, Rome, Florence, Venice, Bologna, Ravenna, etc. Each was different in its own way, but all were excellent. I might even go so far as to say every one of them was better than any pizza we've had in the USA. What really surprised me, though, was how inexpensive pizza was in Italy. A favorite memory was a sidewalk cafe in Venice, off the beaten path. A pizza and a bottle of Sangiovese for 18 Euros. How do you beat that?

Flippers is excellent! Too many Pizza's around here that do not know how to cook the crust all the way to the middle. Nothing worse than a limp slice.

And to establish my credentials - lived both in Chicagoland and NJ. I've had pizza from some of the best places in both. I appreciate Connie's deep dish, and NYC thin crust, folded slices while walking outside of Penn Station. Both have their advantages. But I understand that down here, I'm not going to get that. But there are some good alternatives. Marco's for the money and convenience, meets that requirement. To all of those who say "it's not NYC/Chicago"? That's nice. Move back there. |

I don’t rave about it, just IMO for my tastes it better than ALL pizza joints I’ve been to in and around villages. In other words IMO they was NOT worth returning to for pizza, which why IMO I buy Digioeno’s at least I know what I am getting. |

Yes, done taste evaluation of Several frozen brands on 10 point rating system on taste, crust, quality, doneness, pepperoni’s, and price. For MY taste none was 10. I liked digiorno’s based on crust, quality, and price for what I got. Store brought was pretty close on taste, some crust and price I didn’t like for what got. Each person has different taste, expectations due to the region they’re from. Not all of us are Italian decent and compare American pizza to Palermo.
