Default Another impact from COVID-19 Virus...

Coronavirus panic spreads:

Costco is pulling free samples over COVID-19

NO!!! Oh wait, we don't have a Costco in TV, forgot. OK then. Back to life here in The Villages.

Costco samples suspended: Coronavirus leads stores to pull samples

Please give us an update on Sam's Club. Husband didn't say when he came back from the toilet paper run.

To all our Villages friends over seventy. Do everything you can to eat healthily and stay rested and if it does come near us, be prepared to hunker down. I am thinking of leg irons for my golfer. sigh.

Stay well, all of you. I want to count every single nose after this is passed.

there an emoji of a nose in my initial reply but it turned into a bunch of question marks after posting. It would have funny, kinda, if it had worked. : )

I never was the sharpest knife in the drawer, so can someone please explain how toilet rolls are going to save me from the virus?
We only have a normal supply, does any poster know how many tons we require to be safe?
Do we line the windows, fill the loft with them, or wear them?
Which ply has the most resistance, or makes a better hat to wear?
We have 5000 tins of beans stored 'just in case' so I know we will need extra in an emergency!

You will need lots of TP after eating all those beans.

We have thought of that. Decided to run the garden hose through the window if we run out of TP.

The shower is too close, it works as long as you have a flexible shower head, that's why the "bidet" is still in its original packaging & the main reason is I hate working on plumbing--if I screw up-we have a "problem"

If you subscribe to the Daily Sun, there would be a plentiful supply of toilet paper in an emergency, and the print does not run so much these days!

Food...or toilet paper???

As an aside to all this...was at the Neighborhood Walmart (I think it was )Thursday morning and the toilet paper was almost ALL gone on the shelves. Only area of the store that I'd observed that. People need to be prepared doncha know, for any emergency!!

You never appreciate what you have till it's gone.
Toilet paper is a good example.

I heard that the TP at Costco's was the kind that hangs down from the back, not the kind where the next sheet is on the top and hangs down in the front

We get ours from BJ's in Clermont....their's hangs down in front when installed
