Default Questions on visitors.

Hello Everyone,

I was just there at the end of August and am having a new house built in the Village of Hemingway. We are suppose to close November 13th. I have a couple of questions. If I have friends that visit in an RV is there anyplace they will be able to park it while visiting? Also, can they play on the executive golf courses as my guests or do they have to play the Championship courses?

Thanks,

Wild Bill

Try the Blue Parrot on rt 25. I think they have RV hookups. It you are a Villager and have an ID they can play as your guests on the executive courses. If you get them a guest pass they do not need you to go with them.

As long as you get them guest passes and their ids are not local then they can play the execs also. I have heard that RVs can park at Wal Marts. Not sure if this is still the case.

You may want to check with Recreation Plantation. They are on CR 466 at Rolling Acres. I believe that have rental sites. Not sure if they offer short term.

When we moved to Florida we stayed in our RV for 7 months while we shopped for a home. We stayed at Southern Oaks which is North of The Villages on 441. Recreation Plantation is closer, but hard to get into, depending on the season. If they can't get in there they will probably be able to get in Southern Oaks.

We always stayed at Recreation Plantation because it is so close to TV. They do have nightly spaces that are in a different area of the park than the long term spaces.

Thumbs up Regarding Recreation Plantation

I had my LST visit to TV 13 years ago when I was in a Motor Home. I was referred to The Recreation Plantation by My Sales Agent. I went there for Two weeks and spent 12 winters there. (great 5 star park) Last fall, finally moved into a Carriage Villa behind SPS. I loved it. Unfortunately my lady missed the park and we will move back to the park when we return in Oct.

My Carriage House Condo will be available to rent starting in November.
