He was a Great Guy. R.I.P. Mr. Lasorda.

I received his name as a Nickname when he was advertising for Slim-Fast.

I always respected him a whole lot.

I will never forget the Mets-dodgers national league championship series. Tommy was so full of emotion. Worth watching again. Quite the fellow!

I grew up going to Dodgers games. Tommy Lasorda and Vin Scully were Dodgers to the core..

Mrs Blueash was in Chicago for a trade convention trying to get through the lobby of the Hyatt and her progress was blocked by people just standing in her way. She said excuse me to the obstruction hoping that would be a clue to step to the side. Instead the person asked if she wanted an autograph. Her reply, "Who are you?" Mr Lasorda was not particularly amused but did step out of her way.

I am from Brooklyn. Dodger fan from birth. Went to Ebbits Field. Had Dodger season tickets in Los Angeles for 20 years.Loved watching Tommy Lasorda in person. Wonderful manager and wonderful person. May his memory be a blessing. RIP sweet man.

He pitched for the Almendares baseball club during the winter league in Cuba. He was a favorite of Cuban baseball fans. As for being that man's friend, I don't know and I would be very disappointed if he was friends with such an evil person. Nevertheless, Tommy Lasorda was a good guy and may he rest in peace and in heaven wrapped in God's warm and loving embrace.

Lived near Tommy outside of Philly. He often returned to his roots after making it big in LA. Nice man.
