Read an interesting article entitled "Shame on Jane" by Michael Benge, a former prisoner in North Vietnam. Although Jane Fonda may have thought she was doing good, there are always unintended consequences. The bottom line is it appears an American citizen was brutally tortured as a result of her visit.

I hope she spends eternity sitting on the hard iron seat of an anti-aircraft gun.

Hanoi Jane should have been hanged as a traitor.

Not the only one served during VN conflict. I agree Never should been in VN, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Wasn’t most those crimes the field army at lower level? Or are you saying they got approval to commit crimes? If so, you can blame people in charge of the United State’s at time. |

Jane used to represent the extreme far left. With all the moonbats out there these days she would be considered a moderate in her party. Very sad.

Please tell me exactly what she did to help stop the conflict, other than hang out with the enemy and get a soldier tortured

Mine!! I was scheduled to go back in 1975. Do to the heroic efforts of Jane Fonda and thousands of other protesters the final Americans were pulled out by 30 April 1975.
Thank you Jane for not choosing to dodge your service to the problem in Vietnam. |

Regardless of your opinion of our participation in that war, Men were dying, maimed, and taken prisoner and tortured. All while she was in Hanoi being used as propaganda spokesperson by Vietnam. History will show that she is a traitor of the worst possible kind. Don’t buy this hype folks, this opinion is in the minority of Vietnam vets. USMC Vietnam 69-70. |
