Default RIP - Gilbert Gottfried

He was a wonderful comedian, and one of his best sequences on TV was his answers for the win on "Hollywood Squares"

You all should remember this game from your youth!

I had never heard of the chap, until I saw him on an old Celebrity Roast on YouTube.
He was telling the most obscene joke I have heard on a tv show.
How he got away with it I do not know.
He was hilarious!

He was a frequent guest on Svengoolie and was always funny. He was a big fan of old horror movies.

There's a good documentary on Netflix about his life. I liked his comedy but many found him crass and vulgar. He paid the price for that in losing some of his jobs (AFLAC, etc).

He was "crass and vulgar" well before AFLAC & Disney hired him. They knew what they were getting...

It was after the "woke mob" went after him that he was dropped...
